MY POLITICAL VIEW

 

 

Politics is a game

Of lies , disinformation

And obfuscation ,

Deceit , gerrymandering ,

Pandering , manipulation

And general oration .

Just a means

Of controlling  the nation .

 

Meaningless platitudes ,

Adopted attitudes ,

Corruption , destruction ,

Lack of instruction .

Loss of morality , total banality ,

Inherited , discredited ,

Decrepit and pathetic ,

Peripatetic .

 

Self serving

And undeserving

Of my attention.

Oh , and I forgot

To mention ,

Confuse the masses ,

Treat them like asses ,

They won’t cotton on

And if they do .

 

Well I’ll be gone

To pastures new

With well lined pockets .

Someone else

Will sign the dockets

Of empowerment .

 

 

 

 

 

 

Until they realize

That they had

Stars in their eyes

And its all a con .

They’ll get nothing done .

The names may change

But it will remain the same ,

Politics ,

Is just a game .
